Text messages
Texting is not switched on yet. You can write and save a draft now, but you cannot send until Charlotte List turns texting on. Until then the Send step says "Texting opens soon".
Only people who asked for texts get them. They check the text box at checkout, or text your sign-up word and answer YES. You claim up to 3 words, 3 to 15 letters or numbers. You cannot import text consent.
Every text starts with your host name. A text is up to 600 characters. Each part uses 1 text credit, and emoji make more parts. STOP covers every host.
No text goes out from 9 PM to 8 AM Charlotte time. It waits until 8 AM. Replies land in the Texts inbox.
- Open the Texts tab.
- Press Write a text.
- Type your text and pick a group.
- Press Save and see the cost.
- Press Send now, or use Send later.
